ABOUT ABOUT

Bring your Halloween costume into the 21st Century by teching it out in our day-long Digital Costume Camp!

All day long we'll have workshops focused on teching out Halloween costumes:

  • Learn to use the Silhoutte Digital Cutter to cut out patterns
  • Use the Arduino lilypad to make costumes light up or play sounds (electronics components extra, see below)
  • Modify a trick or treat basket to light up when candy is put in
  • Make a spooky soundtrack
  • 3D print costume accessories
  • Use Google Maps to plan the optimal path for trick-or-treating
  • and much more including sewing lessons and fasion design!
  • We'll provide cardboard, paint, and extra materials

Please BYO fabric and costumes parts.  We'll try and help everyone with their own unique costume ideas but please note that we won't be able to help your child build a life-size working poké-ball or fire-breathing dragon.

We have some additional options you can add on to your order.  Please add on:

$15 for basic electronics components (conductive thread, LEDs, batteries) that your child can build into their costume and keep.

$50 for basic + advanced electronics components (Arduino Lilypad, buzzer, RGB LED) that your child can build into their costume and keep.

$30 for afternoon extended day - pick-up until 5:30 p.m.

You may also bring your own components, but please note we will not be soldering!
