THE CORE WORKSHOPS

Campers will spend the majority of each day within their core workshop.  The options for this camp are:

  • 3D Stop-Motion Animation - Create a digital animation short in 3D that can be viewed at home on any tv using our 3D glasses
  • Toy Design & 3D Printing - Explore how toys work and the process that goes into inventing a new toy, then prototype and create your own!

In addition to the core, campers will spend a smaller part of their day in their choice of week-long elective.  The options for this camp are:

What makes Camp Pixel special?

  •     We have kid-friendly 3D Printing projects.
  •     Campers are able to surround themselves with like-minded creative geniuses.
  •     We have off-screen breaks and outdoor activities designed to engage the campers in the technology they’re learning through physical activity.
  •     Campers get the coolest customized swag like 3D prints, video games, and 3D movies to take home at the end of camp.
  •     We have one computer for every camper (we teach sharing of knowledge instead of sharing of keyboards).
  •     With a high counselor to camper ratio we make sure that every camper gets the attention they deserve.
  •     We engage the campers in REAL technologies that have REAL value for their futures.
